Do you accept Insurance?

We do accept Medicare Insurance, however if you do not have Medicare as your then we are considered out of network. We are NYS Licensed Out of Network Physical Therapists, meaning we do not directly bill insurance companies for our services. Patients are responsible for payment for services the day of service. However we provide our patients with the required documents and instructions in order for them to submit for reimbursement independently for our services.

We will as a courtesy verify your out of network Physical Therapy benefits prior to your first visit which will give you a better understanding of what your financial responsibilities will be.

Do I need a Referral or Script to be treated?

New York State has a law called Direct Access which entitles you to be seen for Physical Therapy services WITHOUT a script or referral for 30 days or 10 visits (whichever comes sooner). If further care is warrented at that time your Physical Therapist will be more then happy to assist in facilitating obtaining a script from your primary care provider.

How often will I need to come to Physical Therapy?

The frequency and duration of your treatment will be determined at the time of your initial evaluation. A number of factors will be considered to make this determination. Factors such as the severity of your condition, the amount of intervention required, recommendation from your physician, and or your financial situation.

We have all intentions to best manage your treatment with the utmost quality while also being mindful of your visits. I will make sure that you are comfortable with your treatment duration and frequency.

What is your cancellation policy?

It is requested that you provide 24 hrs notice if you need to cancel an appointment. If you are not able to cancel the appointment within 24 hrs then we will try to reschedule that visit within the same work week to avoid the cancellation fee. If you do not follow these guidelines you are subject to a $50 cancellation fee. We will take special circumstances into consideration.

What is the difference between your program and Cardiac and Pulmonary Rehab?

Traditional Cardiac Rehab and Pulmonary Rehab programs strive to get 36 sessions in a big group setting. Education is provided in a class setting that may not address your specific situation.

CardioPT is a 1:1 individualized session that will require specific training to address your condition. It allows better time to improve your exercise capacity while establishing a plan to address your overall health. You will also be working with highly trained physical therapist that know specifically about your condition and how to get you to your optimal health status.

Do you accept payment from Health or Flexible Spending Accounts?

We do accept all Card payments including HSA and FSA accounts.
